Harrison, NJ- The official word has come down as Swedish Centerback Noah Eile has officially transferred to Bristol City in the EFL Championship of England’s second division. The club received a record transfer fee for a defender.
Elie’s two seasons with RBNY
Since his transfer from Malmö FF in Sweden, Elie made 59 career appearances, scoring a goal and four assists. In 2024, he made 29 appearances and helped lead the club to its first Eastern Conference Finals appearance with a one-goal clean sheet victory at Orlando City, and helped lead the club to its second MLS Cup Final appearance. Last season, he made 30 appearances and scored the match-winner against CF Montreal in late April.
“Noah has been a true professional and a great presence within our group, and we’re thankful for the commitment and effort he showed every day with the club,” said Head of Sport Julian de Guzman. “As he moves on to the next step in his career, we wish him continued growth and success.”
