Red Bulls Transfer Gustav Berggren to Lech Poznań

Red Bull New York has accepted the transfer of Swedish Midfielder Gustav Berggren to Lech Poznań of the Polish Ekstraklasa. The 28-year-old midfielder will head back to Europe in the first division of Poland to continue his career. After spending a full year in MLS, going from a senior squad to a youthful squad and not having enough playing time, the veteran is heading back to Europe. In 17 appearances this season, Berggren earned two assists, getting his first against the Columbus Crew on October 18th, 2025.
