New location in New England and a start in the big boy stadium
The defending MLS Next Pro Cup Champions, Red Bull New York 2, will have a slight change in their schedule for the 2026 season. They will face an opponent twice at their new facility, while the season opener will be held at a different location. Head Coach Domink Wohlert will lead his young players into Sports Illustrated Stadium for their home opener against Columbus Crew 2 on Sunday, March 1st, at 5 PM Eastern. The majority of their home matches will still be at Montclair State University’s Soccer Park, in Montclair, New Jersey.
For their road matches against the New England Revolution 2, they have been moved to their new home field at Beirne Stadium on the campus of Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Dates have also been changed. Their first road match, scheduled for Sunday, April 12th, has been officially moved to Sunday, March 29th, at 2 PM. Their second road match is still scheduled on Sunday, June 14th, starting at 7 PM
