Nothing worked in their final game of the season
Orchard Park, NY- The New York Jets 2025 season ended with another blowout loss as they traveled to Western New York to face the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium, as they were beaten up by a final score of 35-8. This game marked the last Buffalo Bills game at the stadium that was originally called Rich Stadium, before several name changes like Ralph Wilson Stadium and New Era Stadium.
Mitchell Trubisky played the entire game
The Bills were given the ball to start the game as the Jets won the coin toss. Josh Allen came on for the opening snap of the game to continue his consecutive games played streak. Mitchell Trubisky took over the entire game and punished the Jets with multiple drives and scoring at will. They scored five Intertouchdowns, four of them were passing
The Jets offense was nowhere to be found
No matter what Brady Cook tried to do, the Jets offense couldn’t sustain a drive. Most of the time, they went three-and-out, but when they were able to get something going, the drives all sputtered and died. They weren’t successful during a fourth and one, where they got stopped at the line. But toward the end of the game, the Jets finally got a touchdown to break up the shutout. Andrew Beck with a two yard touchdown pass to the near side.

Interception-less season
The Jets had at least two chances of earning an interception, but they couldn’t get their hands on the ball. For the first time in the history of the New York Jets and the National Football League, the Jets played a full regular season and never made one interception. They have four fumble recoveries, but never picked off a single opponent on their schedule.
The way they lost was embarrassing
No matter how you slice it, this was another horrible season with the Jets, as they had another non-competitive outlook, but the way they lost was baffling. Blowouts in their last five games at home to the Dolphins, away at the Jaguars. While they had a solid first half, they fell apart in the second half away at the Saints, then these last two against the Patriots, and now against the backup quarterback of the Bills. This was a travesty, and the coaching staff is to be blamed for all this negativity that manifested on their sidelines.
“Obviously, man, the game was disappointing. And. The only thing that I can think about is… moving on to next year. And taking this whole season. And I’ll let the players down. Um, I let the organization down. And that burns me. It really does. Thank you. This was not expected. Of where we are this season. And I understand that. But here’s what I do know. I know the reason why I came here. And I am not going to waver from my beliefs on what I think.
Wins games in this league. And I am very confident in myself. I’m very confident in this organization, very confident in our owner. I’m very confident in Mooj. And we’re going to work our ass off to get this shit exactly where it needs to be. And I do know that. But I’ll tell you this. This season’s on me. It’s on me. And I get that. But I’ll tell you this. We’re going to work our ass off starting tomorrow to make sure we get this shit right. I do know that,” said head coach Aaron Glenn
