Nineteen clubs across the region have been selected for the first round
Miami, FL- On Tuesday, December 9th, the Confederation of North America, Central America, and the Caribbean Football conducted their draw for the 2026 CONCACAF Champions Cup as clubs who qualified from several levels in MLS, Liga MX, Canadian Premier League, Leagues Cup, Central American Cup, and the Caribbean Cup learned their fates in the first round draw of the new edition starting this coming February.
Exciting matchups
From Pot 1 were the highest-ranked clubs, and from Pot 2 were the lowest-ranked clubs. Draw assistants were recently retired goalkeeper of Atlanta United, Brad Guzan, who pulled the balls of the teams in both numbered pots, and former Mexican International, Pavel Pardo, as they pulled out the balls in both lettered pots to place the clubs in their positions in the first round.

Round one winners will advance to the round of sixteen, where they will be joined by the MLS Cup Champions, Leagues Cup Champions, Liga MX Champions with the better points aggregate from their Apertura and Clausura seasons, Central American Cup Champions, and Caribbean Cup Champions. Schedules
The entire month of February will feature round one matchups, followed by the Round of 16 matches in March. All matches from Round One through the Semi-Finals are two-legged series with goal aggregate scoring, and away goals still count in this competition.
