U.S. Soccer announces its roster for this coming November
Fayetteville, GA- The U.S. Soccer Federation announces its Roster for the 2025 FIFA Under-17 World Cup that will be played in Qatar from the 3rd to the 27th of November. Players under 17 and younger coming from Major League Soccer, USL Championship, and clubs across the globe.
Drawn in Group I
The U.S. Under-17 National Team has been drawn in Group I, as they will face Burkina Faso on Wednesday, November 5th at 10:15 AM Eastern, Tajikistan on Saturday, November 8th at 9:45 AM Eastern, and their last group stage match against Czechia on Tuesday, November 11th at 9:45 AM Eastern.
All matches will be broadcast on Fox Sports 2 and online in English. They will also broadcast in Spanish on NBC’s Universo, Telemundo, and streaming on their Peacock app and or website.
Gonzalo Segares will manage the squad
Their head coach is the former Costa Rican international and former Chicago Fire midfielder Gonzalo Segares. He will take these talented kids to Qatar, attempting to make a run in this tournament across the globe.
“We’re excited to bring together this group of young men who have worked so hard to get to this point,” Segares said. “Representing our country at the World Cup is an honor and a privilege, and will be an experience they will never forget. We are very thankful to all the clubs that worked with us to allow the players this important opportunity. I know for them this is a dream come true, and we head to Qatar intending to make our country proud and to compete for our flag.”
