The financial services giant will continue as the Official Salute to Service Partner with enhanced programming and increased charitable contributions
NEW YORK – The National Football League and USAA announced a significant long-term partnership extension today, strengthening their 14-season commitment to recognizing and supporting the military community through enhanced programming and increased charitable giving.
The renewed agreement solidifies USAA’s role as an Official Salute to Service Partner of the NFL, with new initiatives launching in the 2026 season that will expand military appreciation efforts both domestically and internationally.
Enhanced Military Recognition Programs
Under the extended partnership, USAA will maintain its leadership role in military appreciation throughout the NFL season, with a prominent presence at marquee events including the Super Bowl, Pro Bowl Games, NFL Draft, and NFL Kickoff.
A key enhancement comes to the prestigious Salute to Service Award program. While USAA will continue as the presenting sponsor, contributing $25,000 in the winner’s name to military aid societies representing all U.S. military branches—matched by the NFL Foundation—the company will now donate an additional $10,000 on behalf of each award finalist beginning in 2026.
“USAA is proud to stand alongside the military community, and our Salute to Service partnership with the NFL is one way we honor those who serve,” said USAA President and CEO Juan C. Andrade. “These experiences go beyond recognition − they create moments of pride and connection for our nation’s service members.”

Global Military Outreach Expansion
The partnership will significantly expand international military engagement, building on USAA’s previous success hosting NFL combine-style events at U.S. military installations in Germany and England, along with Super Bowl watch parties at various international bases.
Starting in 2026, USAA and the NFL will collaborate on an enhanced annual overseas event during the NFL International Series, providing greater connection opportunities for military personnel stationed abroad.
New Television Programming
A major addition to the partnership includes USAA’s presenting sponsorship of a one-hour television show dedicated to Salute to Service programs. The program will showcase military appreciation efforts by the league, all 32 NFL clubs, and USAA, with a scheduled premiere in 2026.
“We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with USAA, a storied and long-standing partner of the NFL and our Salute to Service military engagement initiative,” said NFL Senior Vice President Global Sponsorship Tracie Rodburg. “Football is a unifier, and as we continue to expand worldwide, USAA is the perfect partner to honor our military globally.”
Fan Engagement and Charitable Impact
To celebrate the partnership extension, USAA is offering fans the opportunity to win a trip to Super Bowl LX in the San Francisco Bay Area. Entry details and official rules are available at USAA.com/NFL.
The partnership’s charitable impact extends beyond the Salute to Service Award, with USAA’s comprehensive military support programs reaching service members, veterans, and their families worldwide.
“We are deeply grateful for USAA’s commitment to recognizing the efforts made by members of the NFL family to honor the military community,” said NFL Senior Vice President of Social Responsibility Anna Isaacson. “It’s important our partners align with the values of the NFL, and we look forward to the continued impact we can make together.”
Partnership Background
USAA has served as an Official Salute to Service Partner since 2011, with 160over90 serving as the company’s NFL partnership agency throughout the relationship. The financial services company, which exclusively serves military members and their families, has consistently demonstrated its commitment to military appreciation through various NFL initiatives.
The extended partnership reinforces both organizations’ dedication to ensuring military service members feel supported and appreciated through high-profile recognition and meaningful experiences that connect them to America’s most popular sport.
