Red Bull New York has officially loaned Trinidadian striker Roald Mitchell to Danish Superliga side Viborg FF through June 30, 2027. For the last three seasons, Mitchell was mostly playing for the club’s MLS Next Pro side in Red Bull New York 2 and helped the side win the 2025 MLS Next Pro Championship. Played in 39 games and scored 23 goals. When he was called up to the senior side, he played in six matches.
“Roald has made significant strides in his development over the past year, and this move presents an excellent opportunity for him to continue that progress in a new environment,” said Head of Sport Julian de Guzman. “Competing in a highly competitive league will provide valuable experience and help further his growth as a striker.”
