The Jets Announce Their 16 Man Practice Squad

After announcing their 53-man roster and making their move at place kicker to replace Jason Sanders with Blake Grupe, the New York Jets have officially announced their 16-man practice squad, who will help the main roster prepare for the 2026 NFL Season, and with the hope of using one of them if an important player does get injured. Here are the 16 players who have been selected to join the practice squad and prepare for every game during the season.

The 16-man Practice Squad Roster

Mory Bamba

While the undrafted Cornerback was injured during his first NFL preseason game in the fourth quarter, he proved to be an up-and-coming corner for the Jets. If not this season to be on the practice squad, the hope is for next season, as he created four pass deflections in one game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was mostly a Track & Field Star in College at BYU, but in his senior year he played for the football program and signed with the Jets as an undrafted free agent. Bamba quickly had eyes on him from the coaching staff and the fans.

Cam Camper

The Wide Receiver teammate of Omar Cooper Jr. at Indiana, Cam Camper was signed as an undrafted free agent. He was also coached by current Jets Radio Announcer Anthony Becht at the Orlando Storm of the UFL. In all three preseason games, Camper caught the ball four times for 63 yards.

Jordan Clark

The son of former Pittsburgh Steelers great Ryan Clark finally got to play a game at his father’s home stadium along the banks of the Ohio River. He did play in six games last season when he was called up from the practice squad in November and was signed last year as an undrafted free agent. He is back on the practice squad for this year. Some thought he might have made it to the 53-man roster.

Paschal Ekeji

From South Africa and one of 13 International Players joining the NFL’s IPP Program. He originally played for a professional Rugby team called the Sharks before trying American Football.

Nate Lynn

He signed during the preseason and played in the last two preseason games, one against the Steelers and one against the New York Giants. He earned three sacks in two preseason games, and many fans thought he’d earn a roster spot. Instead, he went to the practice squad, and it’s not bad to have depth at Edge. Lynn came over from the Tennessee Titans practice squad last season.
