Red Bull New York shipped out another player from the Jochen Schneider era, as Director of Sport Julian DeGuzman transferred out Norwegian Midfielder Dennis Gjengaar to Norwegian Eliteserien side Vålerenga. After being with the club for two and a half seasons with the senior side and this season at Red Bull New York 2 of MLS Next Pro. He played in 52 matches across all competitions for the Senior side, including six goal-scoring contributions. His first goal with the Red Bulls was against Toronto FC on June 22nd, 2024. This season with Red Bull New York 2, Gjengaar played in 18 matches in MLS Next Pro, scoring five goals and earning eight assists.
