On Thursday evening, July 23rd, at the offices of the Confederation of North America, Central America, & Caribbean Football, the Draw for the CONCACAF Nations League will be performed to see which National Teams will compete against each other in the three leagues in the group Stage. Those teams who finish at the top of their groups will advance within their respective leagues into the knockout stages, as each league will now have a trophy to fight for during the 2027 International Calendar in March.
League A teams and draw procedures
16 teams are a part of League A, with the top four ranked teams automatically beginning in the Quarterfinals in the November international Window. They are Mexico, USA, Canada, and Panama. The other twelve teams ranked will be placed in six different pots with two teams each. Two groups of six with a Swiss-style schedule will play four matches (Two Home, & Two Away) each. The top two finishers will advance to the quarterfinals; the third and fourth-place finishers remain in League A, and the fifth and sixth-place finishers will be relegated to League B.

POT 1: COSTA RICA & HONDURAS
POT 2: JAMAICA & HAITI
POT 3: GUATEMALA & TRINIDAD & TOBAGO
POT 4: CURACAO & SURINAME
POT 5: MARTINIQUE & NICARAGUA
POT 6: EL SALVADOR & DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
League B teams and draw procedures
16 teams are part of League B; they will play group-stage matches during the final International windows, combining the September/October window and the November window. They will play each opponent in their group six times (three at home and three away) in sustained locations to save costs on travel. The four group winners will be promoted to League A and, for the first time, play for the Nations League B Championship. Four teams in each pot were placed from their rankings. The top four will be placed in the first position, the second four will be placed in the second position, the next four teams in third position, and the remaining four teams in the fourth position. The bottom group teams will be relegated to League C.
LEAGUE B POTS
POT 1: GUADELOUPE, GUYANA, CUBA, FRENCH GUIANA
POT 2: ST. VINCENT & THE GRENADINES, PUERTO RICO, BERMUDA, GRENADA
POT 3: ST. LUCIA, ST. KITTS & NEVIS, BELIZE, DOMINICA
POT 4: SINT MAARTEN (DUTCH ST. MARTIN), BONAIRE, BARBADOS, CAYMAN ISLANDS
League C teams and draw procedures
Nine teams are part of League C; they will play group-stage matches during the final International windows, the combined September/October window and the November window. They will play each opponent in their group four times (two at home and two on the road). The top three teams in Pot 1, the next three teams in Pot 2, and the last three teams in Pot three. The three group winners and the best second-place finisher will advance to the new Nations League C Championship and get promoted to League B.

Nations League Semis & Final and draw broadcast
The 2026-27 Nations League Semi-Finals and Final in League A will be held at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, just outside of Los Angeles. This tournament has helped not only give more matches to the countries within the Caribbean, but also, in the past, they only had a Caribbean Cup with the Caribbean Football Union and World Cup Qualifying in the earlier rounds. This tournament has also become the qualification for spots in the CONCACAF Gold Cup that will be played in the Summer of 2027.
You can watch the draw online at CONCACAF’s YouTube page in Mexico, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. In North America, the draw will be seen on television. In Canada, live on One Soccer. In the USA, live on Fox Sports 2 in English and TUDN in Spanish at 7 PM Eastern – 4 PM Pacific. This should be an amazing tournament for the 41 nations within the Americas to help promote competition across the region.
