This summer, the FIFA World Cup will be ready for the entire North American Zone as Canada, Mexico, and the United States will be the three host nations to welcome 45 nations that will perform at the many stadiums to hold this amazing tournament. For all MLS Stadiums in the United States, they will be shut down after May 23rd, as league play will be halted until late July. Many fans in the New York, New Jersey area will probably watch from home or head over to their local bars and watch the World Cup from there, but special watch parties will be available from a special location in Harrison, New Jersey, as Sports Illustrated Stadium will host some of these events.
The New York, New Jersey Host Committee has announced they will host a fan hub inside and around Sports Illustrated Stadium on selected dates and fans will watch games from a large screen inside the stadium as the World Cup matches are being played. It will also have immersive fan experiences, cultural programming, musical performances, and community-driven events designed to bring in locals, and those visiting from other nations around the world. The fan hub in New Jersey will be the premier destination for everyone to enjoy this summer’s fantastic Soccer tournament.

“As we prepare to welcome the world to this generational event, it’s critical that New Jersey communities are at the center of the experience,” said Tammy Murphy, New York New Jersey Host Committee Board Chair. “The Jersey Fan Hub will create an accessible and exciting space for residents and visitors alike to come together, celebrate the global game, and experience the pride, diversity, and spirit that define our region.”
When entering Sports Illustrated Stadium, the fans caan watch from the pitch a 60 inch screen with the matches from all over North America. The brand new Hype House that just opened will havewill serve as a rallying point to all fans with 20 large screen TV’s, a 360 degree bar and a built-in stage for musical performances and appearances. There willl also be vendors from local businesses from around New Jersey and companies like Bristol Myers Squibb, Hackensack Meridian Health, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, and PSEG.
“Today’s announcement is about creating places where fans can come together and experience the energy of the World Cup beyond the stadium,” said Alex Lasry, CEO of the New York New Jersey Host Committee. “This venue is already a central destination for sports and live entertainment in the region, making it a natural fit for the kind of dynamic, community-driven experience we’re building. The Jersey Fan Hub will bring that energy to life—connecting fans through the game in a way that’s accessible, authentic, and distinctly New York and New Jersey.”

Tickets will cost $10 a person, but children at the age of 12 and under will be permitted to enter for free. While there will be other fan hub events across New York City in Rockerfelller Center, At the Billie Jean King Tennis Center at Flushing Meadows in Queens, the NY/NJ Hosting Committee is ready to share with everyone along the Hudson River this fantastic tournament and the entire world will be watching, visiting and having fun.
