The new edition of our National Championship has been announced

Atlanta, GA- U.S. Soccer has announced the schedule for the new edition of the U.S. Open Cup in the First Round Proper, as clubs from USL Championship, USL League One, MLS Next Pro, USL League Two, NPSL, and the amateurs who qualified through the UPSL Spring Season Championship, USASA National Amateur Cup Champions, the inaugural John Motta Cup, and four rounds or fewer of Amateur qualifiers to reach the opening round.

Cruizers FC replaces Hickory FC

Hickory FC originally was scheduled to be in the Open Cup as the National Premier Soccer League Champions. Due to their move from the NPSL to USL League Two for the 2026 season, they lost their ability to perform, so Cruizers FC from the Golden Gate Conference will take their place as the next team up to join the tournament.

CBS Sports is the exclusive home to the U.S. Open Cup. For the opening round, the majority of the matches will be seen on YouTube, while selected games will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network and CBS Sports Golazo, streaming at the same time on Paramount+.
