WEST POINT, N.Y. — Army West Point senior linebacker Kalib Fortner has been selected to compete in the 2026 Hula Bowl, one of college football’s most prestigious all-star showcases for senior athletes. The game kicks off Saturday, January 10 at 12:00 p.m. ET in DeLand, Florida, airing live on CBS Sports Network and featuring coaching by NFL veterans Jon Gruden and Jay Gruden.
A Leader On and Off the Field
Fortner’s journey at Army has been defined by relentless leadership, consistency, and a knack for rising to the occasion when it matters most. As a team captain in 2025, he anchored the Black Knights’ defense, starting all 13 games and leading by example both in the locker room and on the field. Coaches and teammates alike have praised Fortner’s work ethic, football IQ, and ability to inspire those around him.
