Game 1: Huskies Blank Merrimack on the Road
North Andover, MA – UConn opened the weekend with a dominant 3–0 shutout over Merrimack. The Huskies (8-5-3, 6-3-1 HEA) fired 76 shots, breaking through in the second with a gritty rebound goal by freshman Alexandre Blais. Kaden Shahan added his fourth goal in five games early in the third, and Jake Richard sealed it minutes later. Senior Tyler Muszelik was flawless in net, stopping all 19 shots for his first shutout of the season.

Game 2: Huskies’ Offense Explodes for Weekend Sweep
STORRS, Conn. – Dec. 6, 2025 — UConn secured the sweep with a 5–2 win in front of a packed home crowd. After trading goals in the first, the Huskies took control in the second: Jake Richard buried a power-play tally, then Ethan Whitcomb and Mike Murtagh added even-strength goals. Merrimack briefly cut the lead to two, but Tristan Fraser’s third-period one-timer put the game out of reach. Muszelik starred again, stopping 36 shots.
