CONCACAF Announces Dates for Champions Cup Draw and Schedule

The Continental Club Championship for 2026 has dates scheduled for the new edition

Miami, FL- The Confederation of North America, Central America, and the Caribbean Football has announced the dates for the draw and match weeks that begin in February till the end of May. Clubs from MLS, Liga MX, Canadian Premier League, and club tournaments in Central America and the Caribbean will fill 27 bids, with 22 starting in the first round, and five tournament winners get byes for the Round of 16.

Teams that are confirmed

LIGA MX: Club America, Cruz Azul, Club Deportivo Toluca, CF Monterrey, Pumas UNAM, Tigres UANL
MLS: Seattle Sounders, Inter Miami, Los Angeles Galaxy

Draw and Match Months

The draw will be performed and broadcast on Tuesday, December 9th. The Matches will be played during February, March, April, and May. The entire month of February will have Round one matches with MLS Clubs and Liga MX Clubs facing others from Canada, Central America & the Caribbean.

Draw Procedures

22 clubs will be a part of the first round. The three highest-ranked clubs will be pre-seeded into a bracket position, and the remaining 19 clubs will be distributed into the two club pots. (Eight in Pot A, 11 in Pot B)

Championship Final

The Championship Final will be played on Saturday, May 30th, at a stadium depending on record and goal differential after all rounds are played.
