Kyle Duncan Receives Call Up to Jamaica for World Cup Qualifiers

The Brooklyn-born Kyle Duncan has been called up for his very first World Cup Qualifying Campaign with the Reggae Boys

Harrison, NJ- New York Red Bulls Right Fullback Kyle Duncan has been called up to the Jamaican National Team by Head Coach Steve McClaren for this upcoming September International Window for World Cup Qualifying, hoping to put the Caribbean side back into the FIFA World Cup since France 1998.

Duncan, 27, is in his eighth season with the Red Bulls, where he has made 143 MLS appearances and has recorded six goals and 20 assists. His 20 assists currently rank first in franchise history for most assists by a defender. This season, Duncan has made 16 MLS appearances and has tallied four assists. Duncan currently ranks fourth in franchise history for most MLS appearances by a defender. He is four appearances shy of passing Carlos Mendes.

Duncan’s First Jamaica call-up

Kyle Duncan has received his first call-up to the Jamaica National Team and will be seeking to make his first career appearance for Jamaica. Jamaica will play two 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers during their September camp. First, they will face off against Bermuda on Friday, September 5, and then they will play Trinidad and Tobago on Tuesday, September 9.

Jamaica currently ranks first in Group E in the second round of CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying with a 4-0-0 mark.
