Canadian Men’s National Team Head Coach Jesse Marsch and Canada Soccer will hold their Roster announcement on Friday, May 29th, at the studios of TSN, as the 26-man roster will be selected for this upcoming summer’s World Cup. After the difficult task of selecting 26 players through multiple rosters for friendly games, the CONCACAF Gold Cup, and the Nations League, those players will be selected to represent their country when they open at BMO Field in Toronto to face Bosnia & Herzegovina at 3 PM Eastern on Friday, June 12th.
TSN and CTV will simulcast the games in English, and RDS will broadcast in French, while Crave will stream the games and the roster announcement at the end of May. This will be a big moment for the country to watch who will make the 26-man squad at 7 PM EDT – 4 PM PDT. Canada will face Bosnia & Herzegovina, Qatar, and Switzerland in Group B in Toronto and Vancouver.

After the roster announcement, Team Canada will start their trek to the World Cup with the two international friendly matches as they face Uzbekistan at the Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, Alberta, on June 1st. Then their next friendly would be against the Republic of Ireland as they will play at Stade Saputo at the Olympic Park in Montreal, Quebec, on June 5th.
