Bethlehem, PA — Army West Point women’s basketball is celebrating a double dose of recognition, as senior guard Reese Ericson was named Patriot League Player of the Week and freshman standout Reganne Reardon earned Rookie of the Week honors following the Black Knights’ emphatic 76-52 victory at Cornell.
This is the first time this season an Army player has captured a weekly Patriot League award, marking a milestone moment after a dominant 1-0 record this week for the program.
Historic Night for Ericson
Tuesday’s game was one for the record books as Ericson became just the 20th player in Army women’s basketball history to eclipse 1,000 career points. She led all scorers with 17 points on 6-of-12 shooting, including five three-pointers. Beyond her scoring, Ericson added three assists and a rebound, continuing her all-around impact as she holds the team’s second-best scoring average at 11.8 points per game.
