Trinity Rodman earned both Player of the Week (presented by AT&T) and Goal of the Week honors after delivering a masterful performance that propelled the Spirit to their seventh consecutive unbeaten match. The dynamic forward recorded her first brace of the season, with her second goal earning additional recognition as the league’s top strike of the week.
Rodman’s stellar display helped Washington maintain their firm grip on second place in the NWSL standings while extending one of the most impressive unbeaten streaks in the league this season.

This week’s recognition marks the second time this season that Washington Spirit has claimed at least three weekly awards for a single matchday. The achievement comes after the Spirit made NWSL history in early August by becoming the first team ever to sweep all four weekly awards.
