Network to broadcast an extensive lineup featuring doubleheaders and tripleheaders across four days
INGLEWOOD, Calif. –- NFL Network has unveiled its ambitious Preseason Week 1 schedule, featuring eight live games spanning four days of coverage, including multiple doubleheaders and a Saturday tripleheader, along with complete re-airs of every preseason matchup.
Opening Night Doubleheader Kicks Off Thursday
The network’s preseason coverage launches Thursday, August 7, with a prime-time doubleheader beginning at 7 p.m. ET as the Indianapolis Colts visit the Baltimore Ravens. The evening concludes with a West Coast showdown at 10 p.m. ET, featuring the Las Vegas Raiders traveling to face the Seattle Seahawks in what marks head coach Pete Carroll’s highly anticipated return to Seattle.
NFL GameDay Kickoff will set the stage at 6 p.m. ET, hosted by Rhett Lewis alongside analysts Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks.
Weekend Programming Intensifies
Friday’s coverage continues with the Cleveland Browns taking on the Carolina Panthers at 7 p.m. ET, bookended by NFL GameDay programming featuring Lewis, Jeremiah, and Maurice Jones-Drew.
Saturday delivers the week’s most extensive coverage with a tripleheader beginning at 1 p.m. ET. The New York Giants face the Buffalo Bills, followed by the Minnesota Vikings versus the Houston Texans at 4 p.m. ET, and concluding with the New York Jets against the Green Bay Packers at 8 p.m. ET.
The weekend wraps up Sunday with another doubleheader: the Miami Dolphins visit the Chicago Bears at 1 p.m. ET, followed by the New Orleans Saints taking on the Los Angeles Chargers at 4 p.m. ET.
