The second semi-final match-up in the Copa America Femenina was no contest, as Brazil came out and had one thing on their minds. They wanted to run Uruguay off the pitch and did so with an amazing performance. All they did was produce wave after wave of chances and took down their opponents as the Canary Yellow Shirts and blue shorts of Brazil took down Uruguay by a final of five goals to one.
Brazil would take care of business early as they scored two goals within two minutes. The first one came in the 11th minute when Marta was at the far side and saw Amanda Gutierres making a run toward the area. Her looping ball allowed Gutierres to get underneath and delivered a flick header that went under the crossbar and inside the upper far 90.
The second goal came two minutes later, as Brazil attacked down the far side once again. A fantastic cross from Gutierres went straight toward Fatima Dutra, but she either flubbed the shot or the Uruguayan defender blocked it. But also in the area was Giovanna, as she quickly got to the loose ball and shot it home for the quick two goals to nil lead.

Brazil would get a third as they were awarded a penalty in the 24th minute. Daiana Farias looked to have fouled Isadora Haas inside the area, while VAR did take a look at it, on the replay, it seemed as if Haas might have brought herself down and might have tripped Farias. But the penalty stood, and Marta in the 27th minute coolly took her penalty and scored.
In the second half, Uruguay would pull one back, but with help from Brazil. Uruguay earns a corner kick at the near side. As the ball was delivered, the mistake was made as Haas tried to deflect the ball away from the net, but she accidentally deflected it inside the crossbar and roofs it for an own goal in the 51st minute.
Then Yamila Dornelles, who was on the substitutes bench, argued against the referee, as she was frustrated with what she saw on the pitch. So in the 57th minute, she earned a yellow card, kept yapping, and then earned a red card and was sent off in the 58th minute. While she might have had a good argument, she got herself sent to the showers for the rest of the match.

But Brazil added two more goals as Gutierres scored her second of the match, five minutes after the hour mark. Brazil earned a free kick about 10 yards outside the area, and that’s all she needed as Gutierres ran up to the ball and smashed it from distance, beating goalkeeper Agustina Miranda and destroying the net in style.
The final goal for Brazil was in the 86th minute as Dudinha gets a fantastic pass and she smashes it short side, inside the near post. They advance to the Championship Final, where surprise Finalists Colombia, who defeated Argentina in penalties. The championship final will have a flourish of a finish as the Copa America Femenina will end in style.
