The Rangers Announce thier 100th Season Schedule

At 1:00 PM Eastern, the New York Rangers officially announced their new regular-season schedule for the 2025-26 Season, as they celebrate 100 Years of their existence as an Original Six Hockey Club of the National Hockey League. The Season Opener begins on Tuesday, October 7th, as the new head coach, Mike Sullivan, will face his old team, the Pittsburgh Penguins, at Madison Square Garden.

He will travel to the Steel City within the same week, on Saturday, October 11th, at PPG Paints Arena, before making a stop in Western New York to see the Buffalo Sabres. The Alberta/Pacific Northwest trip will begin at the end of October and the first day of November, starting in Calgary, then ending in Seattle against the Kraken to meet former Rangers Kappo Kakko & Ryan Lindgren.

The Mountain region road trip will be on November 18th through the 22nd, while finishing the 2025 calendar year away from the Garden from December 21st until the new year, as they face the Washington Capitals twice. This road trip will finish with the Winter Classic in South Beach as they face the Florida Panthers at the home of the Miami Marlins at Loan Depot Park.

They will meet the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday, November 4th, when K’Andre Miller makes his return to Madison Square Garden. Also making their return to the World’s Most Famous Arena are Jacob Trouba & Chris Kreider when the Anaheim Ducks fly in on Monday, December 15th.

Their longest home stand will be toward the backend of their schedule when they play seven straight games at Madison Square Garden from March 27th through April 8th. So far, the only National Televised games for the Rangers will be the season opener on ESPN and the Winter Classic on TNT. The National TV schedule should be announced at a future date.
