Eintracht Frankfurt has announced a groundbreaking three-year strategic partnership with Condor Flugdienst GmbH, marking a significant milestone as the club prepares for expanded international competition across multiple tournaments.
Frankfurt, Germany– The Frankfurt-based airline will serve as a strategic partner for Eintracht Frankfurt through the 2027/28 season, supporting the club’s professional men’s and women’s teams, club sports divisions, and collaborative projects with digital subsidiary EintrachtTech.
Perfect Timing for International Expansion
The partnership comes at a crucial time for Eintracht Frankfurt, with the men’s team entering the UEFA Champions League, the women’s team competing in UEFA Women’s Champions League play-offs, and the U-19 squad participating in the UEFA Youth League. This expanded international presence makes strategic travel partnerships more valuable than ever.
“With Condor, we welcome a traditional partner who, like us, is firmly rooted in the region and at the same time internationally oriented,” said Axel Hellmann, spokesman for the board of Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG. “This connection makes Condor the ideal companion on our trips – for the team, for the fans and for very special experiences around our games.”
Enhanced Travel Benefits for Club Community
The partnership extends beyond professional team travel, offering significant benefits to the entire Eintracht Frankfurt community:
- Special travel offers for active athletes and club members
- Enhanced sports luggage regulations accommodating various sports equipment, including specialized provisions for triathletes
- Attractive travel packages through Condor Holidays, developed specifically for Eintracht Frankfurt
- Condor Card advantages for club members
- Convenient domestic connections to Bundesliga locations including Munich, Hamburg, and Berlin with multiple daily flights
Strategic Geographic Alignment
The partnership benefits from exceptional geographic synergy. Condor’s current headquarters in Neu-Isenburg sits just kilometers from Eintracht Frankfurt’s corporate headquarters in the heart of Europa. This proximity will become even more advantageous when Condor relocates to Gateway Gardens in 2026, positioning the airline in immediate vicinity to the ProfiCamp at Deutsche Bank Park.
Condor’s Commitment to Excellence
Peter Gerber, CEO of Condor, emphasized the natural fit between the organizations: “The attachment to our home Frankfurt and at the same time international commitment make Eintracht Frankfurt and Condor ideal partners. We are proud to embark on the new journey together to unite the best for all athletes, loyal fans and travel enthusiasts.”
Condor brings substantial aviation expertise to the partnership, operating a modern fleet of over 50 aircraft serving more than 70 destinations worldwide. The airline recently completed a comprehensive fleet renewal, featuring 18 efficient Airbus A330neo long-haul aircraft, with three additional A330neos joining by 2028. The short- and medium-haul fleet is also undergoing complete modernization, with 43 new A32Xneo family aircraft expected by the end of 2028.
Looking Forward
This strategic alliance positions both organizations for continued growth and success. For Eintracht Frankfurt, it ensures reliable, high-quality travel solutions for increasingly complex international competition schedules. For Condor, it strengthens ties to the local community while supporting one of Germany’s most internationally recognized football clubs.
The partnership represents more than a business arrangement – it’s a union of two Frankfurt institutions committed to excellence, innovation, and international success.
