Alimata Belem strengthens Eibar’s defense

Precisely, in the last year she shone in the silver category playing 2,274 minutes (of the 2,340 possible) and being decisive for the Rioja team to achieve the long-awaited promotion to the F Moeve League. This course will face his former team on day 13 in Las Gaunas and on the last date of competition at the Ipurua stadium. Despite being only 20 years old, the center, who can also play in the center of the field, has extensive experience at the international level, both in the lower categories and in the national team.

Her good performance has made her one of the most projected players in her country. With the U-20 selection of Burkina Faso, she achieved the silver medal in the UNAF Women’s Tournament, and also competed in the qualifiers of the FIFA World Cup Costa Rica 2020. Just two years later, Burkina Faso achieved a historic qualification for the 2022 African Cup of Nations, and despite being only 18 years old at that time, Alimata Belem was called up with the national team, being one of the youngest soccer players in the tournament. Now she arrives at SD Eibar, where she signs until 2027, becoming the sixth signing of the gunsmith team, which continues to incorporate players to complete its squad for the start of the new season.
