3000 Euro donations and Skela-Gala

The Tradi wins the charity home game of Uwe Bindewald in the Wetterau with 11:1 against FSV Dorheim in front of 1300 spectators. Ervin Skela laces the four-pack.

The mayor, Friedbergs Kjetil Dahlhaus, had hoped for a goal for the FSV Dorheim, the association “Kinderherzen heilen” for a high donation, the whole place as part of the celebrations for the 1250th anniversary for a football festival, and the spectators for many goals. At the charity game, 3000 euros could be presented at half-time for the association “Kinderherzen heilen”, which was once co-founded by a Dorheimer. The association supports children and their relatives who need to be treated due to a heart defect. Dieter Bernhardt, long-time FSV goalkeeper and board member, and now in a leading position at the festival committee on the occasion of the anniversary, promised that “the amount will increase, when the billing is ready.”

Although it was hot in the sun at over 30 degrees on the court, the Tradi still had great joy to play against an opponent, with whom the coach had proclaimed the right motto. “There are no tactical guidelines, we want to have fun,” he said before the game. The 1300 spectators had this as well as all the players on the field, who scored twelve goals.

The “magic foot” Ervin Skela, announced by Bad Nauheim’s ice hockey stadium spokesman Christian Berger, proved to be the most diligent executor. Four goals went to his account, especially the 2:0 was extremely worth seeing. His shot from 20 meters was placed so precisely in the angle that the impact on the inner goal bar could be heard over the entire sports field. Before and after half-time, there was a 24-minute goal lull, but that did not detract from the desire on both sides to want to score a goal. So the FSV also came to its goal of honor, while on the other hand, their local matador Uwe Bindewald had made it possible the 3:0 by double goal scorer Matthias Hagner with a magnificent cross, among other things.

Bindewald had been awarded for 50 years of membership by the FSV board before the game. In 1975 he had started playing football in the Friedberg district, and he came to Eintracht in the youth via smaller detours. He has always remained loyal to the eagle bearers as well as to the FSV, for whom he occasionally kicks with the Old Men and once also had his share with a short-term use that the first team did not have to be relegated. “I am very happy that the FSV Dorheim distinguishes me and that we play with the Tradi here. I am almost every week on this sports field in training with the boys who are my opponents today,” said Bindewald, who received the certificate from Michael Reis, a teammate from the E-youth district champion team of 1978/79 and today’s second chairman of the club.

Meanwhile, Bindewald had already played together with Thomas Lasser in the youth and with the Eintracht professionals. In Dorheim, the former defensive player came to his 100th. Use in the Tradi – and scored the first goal of the all-round successful afternoon, to which, as usual, the football school also contributed to traditional games. Manfred Binz, Alex Conrad, the latter also used Lise Munk at the Tradi, and Cezary Tobollik had trained for two hours with 40 kids of the JSG Kreisstädter.
